D'lish scraps june inspiration board

Hi all, I'm just scraping in this month with this comp. This month I attempted the dlish scrap june inspiration board Captured moments.

This is my take on the inspiration board.

This months inspiration board worked well with the kaisercraft collection 'shine bright' and I'm sure a lot of people would of used those papers for this month challenge.

So many little goodies in the 'just add paper' kit.

I did a few different layering of stamps as I wanted to use that to build up my background, and finished it off with the cute film strip washi tape from the kit.

White with one challenge 'Biscay bay'

Hi all, so being the first of the month means there is a new colour for us girls to inspire with.

Check out the white with one blog with link below, where you'll see my piece along with all the other ladies pieces to inspire people this month.

With this colour being more masculine, I had a nice picture of my god son that I wanted to use.

 

This is what I came up with.

 

 

With the back ground on this I used the new distress colour 'mermaid lagon' which was perfect for this piece as it matched the colour perfectly. I used Tim Holtz spritzer over a stencil, then used the same stencil to add texture paste to give it some added interest.

 

 

I used 'mermaid lagon' stain on the chipboard, and used a bit of coloured tissue paper behind the photo.
